Social Media
In 2022, I was tasked with sharing the history of the empty Mount St. Mary’s Convent on Mansfield Ave. in Burlington and announcing the purchase of the building and adjacent property by the local Catholic school. I strategically shared the news on the Burlington Area History page since many alumni of Mount St. Mary’s, Mater Christi and Trinity College are part of it. The post was a hit and gained lots of visibility for the school. It was an honor to highlight such an iconic building in the Queen City.
In 2020, I embarked on a year-long social media campaign highlighting the different churches in Vermont. It became the most popular social media campaign to date and earned us first place for Best Use of Photos on Social Media at the Catholic Media Awards.
I enjoy creating fun and engaging content that builds camaraderie online. This post was celebrating 8.02 day and how great Vermont is. Followers chimed in with their favorite things about the state which led to lively discussions about the answers that were given.
In my free time, I’ve done some freelance work for a local photographer. The work consisted of posting on Instagram and Facebook as well as getting images published in local newspapers and featured in broadcast media.
Graphics
Here’s a sampling of some graphics I’ve made highlighting the Vermont Catholic Community Foundation, Vermont Catholic Schools, as well as graphics featuring quotes from the day’s readings.
